The other reason to suspect Sam wonвЂ™t replace Bixby is as simple as the name. The departure of Adam Cheyer, Viv Labs co-founder and Samsung vice president leading Bixby development, the shutdown of Bixby Vision and reassignment of the Bixby developer marketing team seemed to spell doom for Bixby before Samsung expanded BixbyвЂ™s presence to new phones and launched the bean-shaped Galaxy Buds Live earbuds. How Sam might fit into SamsungвЂ™s existing AI ecosystem is also unknown.

The swift removal of Sam from the Lightfarm page and lack of announcement from Samsung suggests the character is either still being developed or was part of a project that was never meant to be seen publicly in its current form.
